The 2nd<\/sup> edition of Calzedonia\u2019s iconic event format makes its Italian debut<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

in Milan\u2019s busiest district, preceded by the first ever \u2018Legs Casting\u2019.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The brand once again surprises international guests and celebrities with an unforgettable experience: a celebration of legwear conceived in collaboration with the creative agency Villa Eug\u00e9nie<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Milan, 19 September<\/em> – A must-have item in every woman\u2019s wardrobe: elegant and sensual, but also symbolising innovation and unstoppable innovation. After the Parisian launch in the splendid setting of Palais Brongniart, for its second edition, CALZEDOMANIA <\/strong>hit the stage right at the opening of Fashion Week in the world\u2019s fashion capital, Milan, with an even more surprising new event preceded by a sensational \u2018Legs Casting\u2019.<\/p>\n

An initiative focused on the public, which over the past few weeks has won over many customers, both enthusiasts and anyone merely inquisitive, the aim being to select the legs destined to become the stars of the show.<\/p>\n

With over 570 retail outlets in Italy, Calzedonia confirms the international glamour of the Verona-based brand as a leading player in the universe of legwear: present in 55 countries, with over 2,150 retail outlets and e-commerce channels operating in 33 countries.<\/p>\n

A perfect alchemy of modernity and pop culture comes to life in this format that has become a touring one, determined to convey the soul, culture and essence of the city. For this reason, keeping up with Milan\u2019s unrelenting pace, CALZEDOMANIA<\/strong> lit up the atmosphere of Allianz Mico, the architectural hub of one of the city\u2019s most futuristic districts. An iconic place representative of Milan and how this great city aims to present itself to the world today.<\/p>\n

An immersive experience created once again this year thanks to the talent of Villa Eug\u00e9nie: Etienne Russo\u2019s creative agency which, for over thirty years, has been the force behind shows and events all over the world, famous for its unforgettable original productions.<\/p>\n

Because, as we know, tights today are not just a simple accessory, but an expression of the latest trends from leading fashion designers. Confirmation also extends across the Atlantic from the now acclaimed \u2018no pants look\u2019, loved by stars and fashionistas alike, bringing a lingerie-inspired style to the forefront… where tights are the undisputed star. (Semi) bare legs, shrouded in the luminous shadows of perfect tights, which today also shine on the catwalks of the biggest shows.<\/p>\n

To ensure a perfect look for women from all over the world and build ever greater audience engagement, Calzedonia amazed its audience of guests and celebrities with the beautiful collections worn during the various performances.<\/p>\n

The stars of the evening were some of the most representative models of the latest collections; sheer tights paired with opaque or sequined briefs for a \u2018no pants look\u2019, fishnet tights with geometric, floral or animal patterns, and the new super-shiny trend seen in tights and ultra tight-fitting 80s-style bodysuits.<\/p>\n

Also destined to become a coveted piece are the Exclusive Edition tights, created by Calzedonia for the event, available in selected stores and online, with see-through effects and wrap-around bands embellished with shiny decorations.<\/p>\n

To surprise the many guests, there were ever-present performances such as the \u2018Leg Runway\u2019 that saw women selected by Calzedonia in Milan during its \u2018Legs Casting\u2019, but also shows by exceptional international talents. The evening featured choreography by Kevin Vives<\/strong> (@viveskevin), a world-renowned talent known for collaborating with artists such as Celine Dion, Justin Bieber and Kylie Minogue, and \u2018mirror ball performer\u2019 Louise Kelly, who captivated those present with her dancing around mirrored disco-dance effect spheres. The show by Camille Tremblay<\/strong> (@cammmt), an expert in original platform performances, was exhilarating, ending with the histrionic visions of sculpture-effect costumes by the artistic and imaginative costume designer Sasha Frolova<\/strong> (@sashafro). The hair traction performances by pole dancer Martina Storti (@martinastorti__) were particularly impressive, ending with the acrobatic, glittering dances of performer Lea Toran Jenner (@leatoranjenner), under the lights of a chandelier.<\/p>\n

A surprising journey through surreal atmospheres starting right from the red carpet, with the presence of international influencers and stars such as supermodels Alessandra Ambrosio from Brazil and Toni Garrn from Germany, the latter fresh from a dazzling appearance at the Venice Film Festival, the fashion icon Ashley Graham and the very popular actresses Leighton Meester and Suki Waterhouse.<\/p>\n
