style and comfort. For the Fall/Winter 2020 collection Calzedonia has designed a new line of sustainable tights, leggings, and socks, all made up of RELIFE yarn. Re-life, means bring back to life. This is the new attitude which the Calzedonia brand has decided to pursue, adopting two innovative processes which consist in the regeneration of cotton and plastic bottles.

An environment-oriented philosophy undertaken by Calzedonia. In addition to recycling and re-entering the fashion circuit of materials derived from waste, it has been able to contain water consumption, reduce C02 emissions and overall the consumption of non-renewable energy, avoiding the use of harmful chemicals, as well as saving of waste.

To certify the quality of the yarn obtained by Calzedonia and the efficiency of the production processes, the 100% GRS CERTIFIED YARN has an international recognition from the Global Recycled Standard. A green attitude to wear every day in a perfect mix of style, comfort and respect for the environment.

For the FW20 tights with a sustainable soul, Calzedonia has chosen the eco-sustainable Nylon 6.6 fiber Q-NOVA by Fulgar®. Produced in Italy, obtained through regenerated and fully traceable raw materials, the Q-NOVA® fiber by Fulgar is obtained through a mechanical recycling process with a low environmental impact: -90% of water consumed and -80% of CO2 emissions for each kg of fiber.

Available in 3 basic shades (40, 60 and 80 shades), this season the green appeal also acts upon the fashion collection. During the coldest days of the year it will be possible to show off tights with original motifs thanks to sensual zebra nets and refined vertical geometric patterns. An attitude which raises awareness and fashion all enclosed in superb key pieces for next winter. A real invitation to protect the environment: the socks from the ECO line proposed by Calzedonia express all the green spirits of this capsule. Fun and responsible, they show subjects and messages related to the world of sustainability and are made of 52% upcycled cotton and 48% recycled PET yarn.

Yet but not least, also the packaging is made up of eco-sustainable materials and is FSC marked (logo that guarantees that the product is made with raw materials deriving from properly managed forests).
