INTIMISSIMI INTRODUCES THE NEW ULTRAFRESH SUPIMA COTTON

This 100% natural fiber, which is a summer version of Intimissimi’s iconic Ultralight with Cashmere fabric, gave life to a new knitwear line presented in the ad campaign starring Bruna Marquezine

The idea of the new Ultrafresh Supima Cotton stems from Intimissimi’s great attention to natural fibers and desire to create items of superior quality that convey a sense of freshness and softness that caresses the skin. With its extreme lightness, this 100% natural fabric is the ideal material for the most iconic garment worn by women: the t-shirt.

The ideal garment to complement any look, from the most casual to the most elegant, even in its basic version the t-shirt is a timeless must-have on any woman’s fashion hitlist, thanks to its high- quality cotton. It is not by chance, in fact, that the face of the new campaign, shot by Rowan Papier, is Bruna Marquezine, the latest addition to Intimissimi’s model roster who is a symbol of fresh and refined femininity and who perfectly embodies the brand’s new daywear offer.

Intimissimi designed an Ultrafresh Supima cotton knitwear line that features many different styles and designs: a three-quarter sleeve boat-neck t-shirt, ideal to create endless looks, and a long Madonna-neckline wide-strap tank that, with its slim-fit design, is perfect to be worn under shirts or sweaters, for added comfort or for a fashionable color overlay effect. These two styles come in a wide array of nuances, starting from the two all-time greatest classics: white and night blue. But there is more to come: the line also includes a variety of other styles made from the same premium cotton, such as half- and long-sleeve shirts and tanks.

There are a number of everyday must-have garments and wardrobe essentials – simple,  minimalist and therefore versatile pieces – that every woman should own. The white tee is one of them. The t-shirt is a timeless piece to wear all year round: an iconic staple that everybody loves and that goes well with any outfit.

Born as an undergarment, the t-shirt became part of casual menswear in the 19th century. Thanks to American designers and the celebrated Hollywood movie stars who donned it, the t-shirt was proclaimed an outer-garment, entering in its own right into the Hall of Fame of menswear as a symbol of youth rebellion. The version for her was launched in the 1960s, turning a plain garment that had been conceived with functionality rather than aesthetics in mind into a refined piece and a medium for seduction. Today, the white t-shirt is a blank canvas, a timeless must-have accessory. With its simplicity that has conquered women worldwide, the white tee was crowned wardrobe icon by street style – the parallel universe of fashion that is ever so distant from the runway yet represents its truest form.
