CALZEDONIA WELCOMES IN SUMMER 2016 WITH ANNUAL SWIMWEAR SHOW
Tuesday 5th April Verona, Italy
Today Calzedonia presented their Summer 2016 swimwear collection in the newly expanded Calzedonia Group headquarters in Verona. The impressive new space, created within the existing headquarters will be purely used for presenting new collections to international press, influencers and celebrities.
The Calzedonia Fashion Show was a journey through the different themes of the summer swimwear collection; sport, wellness and the very latest fashion trends.
Taking inspiration from Brazil, the country that will host the 2016 Olympics Games, the show included multisensory experiences and exotic rhythms, reflective of Rio de Janeiro’s energy.
A whole section of the show was dedicated to Calzedonia’s new swimwear sport line; a collection that combines technical performance with Italian style to create a new line of swimwear specifically for the gym and water sport.
The retro inspired crochet collection and it was also presented during the show.
Live dance performances enlivened the crowd and together with the world’s best swimwear models brought the collection to life.
The end of the show was an explosion of color celebrating and welcoming the beginning of summer. Nothing says summer more than a new swimsuit; the latest collection is available in all Calzedonia stores.
