Pragmatism and creativity are the two central pillars of the Falconeri autumn-winter 17/18 menswear collection. Noble materials combine with functionality for garments which meet the demands of everyday life, a mixture featuring minimal-chic overtones. This year’s menswear collection is an expression of sport chic in which cashmere, the brand’s hallmark material, transforms basic pieces into innovative, original, on-trend garments. The polished, comfortable cashmere jacket is the perfect example, worn with trousers and a sweatshirt for a sporty look.
Stripes, vertical ribbing, cable knits, 3-D knits and patchwork details complete this new world.
For another distinctive element of the collection, new dyes on warm cashmere create a subdued effect. Hence degradè tones combine with double-thread garments to enrich the fashion line.
Finally, the season includes new coats which feature comfortable, precious tartan knits in nuanced colours, proposed as an alternative to more formal outerwear.
