FALL/WINTER 2022 COLLECTION
For the Fall/Winter 2022 collection, after Venice and the Ligurian Riviera, Intimissimi chooses Rome.
The Eternal City becomes the picturesque backdrop for the new collection where, amongst the most iconic landmarks, we will see the beauty that makes every woman unique brought to the fore.
Four protagonists, four femininities that best represent the wide range of sizes and body shapes that the brand caters for, in a journey around Rome’s best-known landmarks.
An itinerary that tells the story of the art of Italian lingerie through beauty, culture and craftsmanship.
The collection is also renewed for the new season with its sensual feminine style, rich in sought- after details with timeless sophistication and impeccable aesthetic taste.
The new arrivals include the Loosen Heartstrings underwear sets, a mix of romantic lace that surprises thanks to the sensual play of elastic laces. Lace in neutral tones, on the other hand, for Lovely Day and Shift into Neutrals, for women who prefer a more discreet charm. A timeless elegance, for silk and lace lingerie that enhances shapes in line with the most understated feminine style, also perfect for brides.
On-trend bouquets with autumnal nuances, which alternate the classic black and white with warmer shades such as ruby red and intense green; colour combinations that alternate opacity and transparency, for an unprecedented way of perceiving the classic floral pattern.
Winter is illuminated by precious, sparkling flashes that intertwine with total black lace and the embroidery of sensual bralettes and briefs, designed to be glimpsed under kimono robes, silk shirts or jackets. Even the new season’s nightwear garments range from colourful floral to black and white, from warm colours to ethno-chic prints such as paisley and ikat, designed for the satin and silk kimono, an iconic Intimissimi garment.
An Italian soundtrack, which is now identified with the brand, accompanies the four women in this not-to-be-missed international campaign. Once again, an anthem that evokes the ‘dolce vita’ that made Italy synonymous with beauty and that celebrates the art of lingerie that is all-Italian, all Intimissimi.
#intimissimicares project: traceability
“Improving is part of our culture. This is our idea of sustainability.”
Since its foundation, Intimissimi has made a name for itself not only for the quality and beauty of its garments, but also for its extensive control over the production chain. 94% of the items sold in Intimissimi stores are actually produced by factories owned by the company in Italy and abroad. This decision allows production management to be coordinated with the other phases of the supply chain, ensuring total dedication to brand needs and the elimination of intermediaries. In this way, it is possible to maintain high quality at an affordable price.
This business model involves significant investments and the opportunity to offer jobs to a large number of employees, for the benefit of the communities in the towns in which the companies are located. In this way, it is possible to guarantee an excellent working environment inside the factories and respect for the human rights of the people who work there.
This transparent approach is reflected to an even greater extent in the intimissimi.com online shop, thanks to the presence of a section titled “traceability” on the product sheet of each garment, featuring the details of the company sites at which it was manufactured. In this way, customers can obtain extensive information about the factory, the production phases, the commitment to issues regarding sustainability and the stories of the people who participated in the production of the items. The union between the brand’s sustainability journey and the supply chain control characteristics have made it possible to take a step forward when it comes to transparency towards customers relating to Intimissimi activities.
Specifically, nightwear items are produced in the Gordon (Serbia), Vavuniya (Sri Lanka) and Zalli (Bulgaria) factories. The garments then arrive at the logistics hub in Vallese (Italy) and go on to be shipped to stores all over the world.
