Calzedonia’s FW22 collection contains a whole universe of ideas to explore. Riding the wave of in-season trends, it cleverly reimagines autumn-winter fashion to create socks and leggings suitable for any dress code.

Fashion’s roar gets fierce with the introduction of modern, animal-print tights. The classic spotted and tiger patterns are enriched with wild details, such as feline profiles and themed slogans.

Lettering also goes beyond these eye-catching styles to star on a capsule collection of tights, with phrases and images dedicated to the emotions women feel, from happiness to love and gratitude.

Calzedonia has never forgotten its heritage and this season offers a selection of best selling tights; these iconic tights that have won the hearts of customers since 1987 – the year the brand was founded – are now available in eco yarn. There are four must-have models: fishnet tights with polka dots, half fishnet and half opaque tights, grunge tights with a frayed effect and geometric patterned tights.

There are also many fishnet designs with an added touch of colour, available in lace-effect, foliage, fan-patterned or geometric versions.

Opaque models with strategically placed cut-outs at the sides and back are sexy and striking for the more daring among us.

There are many variations on the argyle theme with diamonds recalling the preppy aesthetic of the Cool Academia line. These classic lozenges are also reworked in more minimal and stylised versions, with optical or tone-on-tone effects, in classic black or in autumnal shades such as burgundy and peacock blue.

The colour scheme is a recurring theme in AW22, with an explosion of tones from pastel, fuchsia, petrol and purple, tainting basic microfibre tights, fishnet tights but also thick soft-touch socks and leggings, in line with this season’s trends.

Another must-have is party (leg)wear. Shiny styles with a black base embellished with gold or silver details, such as stars, studs and glitter to brighten up the look.

The Special Edition, enriched with the most exquisite details, will amaze in every way possible: crystal anklets, sophisticated corset interlacing with jewelled ribbons, dentelles, glitter, maxi bows and metal mesh, both for tights and socks with a Moulin Rouge look, not to mention the animal-print catsuits.

Leggings also lend their contribution to the wardrobe, and for autumn winter Calzedonia introduces ultraflex denim offering a second-skin feel with 100% stretch.

Finally, there are two new entries in the licensing division with Harry Potter and The Little Prince, special treats for young and old fans who love these two magical characters.
