Tezenis celebrates turning 20 with an exclusive show in Ibiza

Celebrating your 20th birthday is always an important moment. Tezenis, the Calzedonia group brand with a cool, innovative soul, founded in 2003 and turning 20 this year, knows this well.

The event was held in Ibiza, whose beaches, clear waters, markets, parties and international atmosphere made it the perfect location to keep the energy of summer alive. A place that holds memories of everyone’s early twenties, filled with music and freedom. Hosting the private evening event on 3 October was one of the most famous clubs: Destino Pacha.

The brainchild of Balich Wonder Studio, the holding company specialising in live entertainment and communication, owned by Marco Balich, Gianmaria Serra and Simone Merico, with the artistic direction of LaTarma Entertainment, the event celebrated the core elements of the brand’s DNA. Sounds that nourish the body and mind played a central role during an evening brought to life thanks to live performances and top DJs with the tagline ‘Music for the Body’.

On the unmistakable notes of award-winning DJs and producers Robin Schulz and Purple Disco Machine (Grammy Awards 2023), with lights, SFX and music created especially for the occasion, Tezenis wrote its name in the Ibiza night, bringing back the excitement of being 20 years old for one evening.

The celebrations began at one of the most magical moments: sunset. With the atmospheric sound of gongs, the island’s symbolic ritual, the first two live performances of the evening kicked off, accompanied by a show based around the freedom of movement. With the arrival of the Ibizan night, the dream was interrupted by the arrival of the light show that lit up the club’s main stage, accompanying those present towards the actual start of the show, where a story made of music, choreography and fashion began to be told: the story of Tezenis.

The iconic garments, the fashion show collections, the chapters of a story of tradition and attitude. From the first iconic briefs, worn by the first performer on stage, to the first musical collaborations, passing by the great TV partnerships, through the viral TikTok trends of the last few years: a veritable medley of the brand’s greatest hits chronicled its story up to the present day.

The explosion and support of talent and live music, to which Tezenis has always been linked, brought to the stage by international singers and performers, anticipated the climax of the evening: the presentation of the new collection. One after another, the new Tezenis iconic garments were brought to the stage, amidst Parisian atmospheres and new urban sounds, underlining the brand’s ability to interpret trends, creating collections with a versatile, young and pop slant.

All helping strengthen an already essential link between Tezenis and music. In particular, music from emerging young artists, which the brand continues to support as an inexhaustible source of inspiration and

universal language. Numerous national and international names in music and fashion attended the evening. These included Roxie, the Polish-born singer who won The Voice Kids Poland in 2018, Naomi Lareine, the Swiss rhythm and blues singer-songwriter, Enula, the standout artist from the Amici 20 talent show, Mathea, who rose to prominence in 2016 with her participation in the sixth edition of the talent show The Voice of Germany, Emma Smetana, the Czech-born actress and singer, and Kianna, the Greek-born pop singer.

The party, which celebrated an important milestone, thus became an opportunity for the brand to celebrate together with all those who have been part of its history, remembering its origins, the progress made thanks to the people who have worked with it and the journey still to come, always – strictly – characterised by music.
