FALL/WINTER 2022
For Fall/Winter 2022, Intimissimi features romantic laces, luxurious embroidery and floral patterns
The Fall/Winter 2022 season opens with an artfully designed collection defined, yet again, by expert Italian craftsmanship, which has always made Intimissimi recognisable around the world.
Femininity and a romantic allure remain constant hallmark features, collection after collection.
A sense of delicate refinement is embodied in the Ephemeral Beauty line, which alternates watercolour floral bouquets with white lace, as well as in Eternal Love, whose all-white bodysuits and sets feature inlaid lace and soft microfibre, making them ideal bridalwear. Lovely Day is enhanced by a perfect colour palette, with white macramé trimmed in gossamer tulle. Meanwhile, the season’s on-trend Shift into Neutrals line features romantic lace with pastel-blue accents, creating naturally shaded gradients.
Fall hues, including ruby red and bright green, come to life in the new collection’s bras and balconettes, with floral weaves blooming like treasures in a winter garden. Sophisticated, romantic silhouettes are utilised in a wide array of new styles and shapes, such as the balconette bra — the collection’s indisputable superstar that is a must-have in every woman’s lingerie drawer.
The collection showcases timeless elegance in the lines Time to Shine and Shine High Like Stars, as well as in A Touch of Light, Your Private Party and Luxury Treats, where minimalist black bras, knickers and thongs are enhanced by delicate embroidery and fine decorative adornments.
For nightwear, the brand offers exotic patterns that suit any style, including cosy, warm shades of ikat paisley on textured jersey and jersey fleece. Pyjama sets come in cotton with black-and-white floral micro prints, as well as flowing bamboo viscose in deep shades of green, while Early in the Morning features must-have, masculine-cut pyjamas in soft, double-faced, cotton canvas.
This fall, another must-have is the viscose-satin kimono, one of the brand’s iconic garments featured in the nightwear collection every season. Intimissimi offers a vast array of knitwear-inspired items in ultra-warm fabrics for the coldest days of the years, featuring checked details, along with natural colours and colour blocking, such as in the Cozy Mountain line.
To complete the collection, knitwear made from extremely lightweight modal fabric is showcased in Ultralight con Cashmere, while the Thermal with Cashmere line introduces new ultra-soft, warm textures, designed to be worn with coordinated loungewear.
The seamless, knit silk-wool line is available in buttery hues, the season’s colour palette and timeless basic black; enhanced by ribbing or jacquard cable knits, its perfect mix of natural fibres cosily drapes across the body of every woman.
Intimissimi offers a sophisticated, feminine new Fall/Winter collection, defined by one-of-a-kind silk and lace that is meticulously designed to the tiniest detail, offering every woman the perfect style.
#intimissimicares project: traceability
“Improving is part of our culture. This is our idea of sustainability.”
Since its foundation, Intimissimi has made a name for itself not only for the quality and beauty of its garments, but also for its extensive control over the production chain. 94% of the items sold in Intimissimi stores are actually produced by factories owned by the company in Italy and abroad. This decision allows production management to be coordinated with the other phases of the supply chain, ensuring total dedication to brand needs and the elimination of intermediaries. In this way, it is possible to maintain high quality at an affordable price.
This business model involves significant investments and the opportunity to offer jobs to a large number of employees, for the benefit of the communities in the towns in which the companies are located. In this way, it is possible to guarantee an excellent working environment inside the factories and respect for the human rights of the people who work there.
This transparent approach is reflected to an even greater extent in the intimissimi.com online shop, thanks to the presence of a section titled “traceability” on the product sheet of each garment, featuring the details of the company sites at which it was manufactured. In this way, customers can obtain extensive information about the factory, the production phases, the commitment to issues regarding sustainability and the stories of the people who participated in the production of the items. The union between the brand’s sustainability journey and the supply chain control characteristics have made it possible to take a step forward when it comes to transparency towards customers relating to Intimissimi activities.
Specifically, nightwear items are produced in the Gordon (Serbia), Vavuniya (Sri Lanka) and Zalli (Bulgaria) factories. The garments then arrive at the logistics hub in Vallese (Italy) and go on to be shipped to stores all over the world.
