INTIMISSIMI,

HEIDI AND LENI KLUM PRESENT INTIMISSIMI “THE ART OF ITALIAN LINGERIE”

Heidi Klum and daughter Leni are the new testimonials of the lingerie label INTIMISSIMI.

Intimissimi is a brand designed by women – for women. A brand that accompanies and supports women at every stage of life. From the exciting choice of the first bra to every single moment when underwear makes them feel strong, confident and sensual. Intimissimi stands for beauty, design and fit. At the same time, the Italian brand celebrates the uniqueness of every woman in all its facets. The collections are made for all personalities, needs and body shapes, so every woman can feel comfortable.

Intimissimi steps forward with a new campaign starring the stunning Heidi Klum and her eldest daughter Leni as icons of self-confidence, joy of life and love between a mother and daughter.

Together Heidi and Leni show that Intimissimi is a brand for all women. Regardless of age, fit and style. The two represent the strong bond between mother and daughter, but also unconditional love, friendship and support.

Heidi Klum is a successful model, presenter, producer, entrepreneur, and mother of four. Her 18-year- old daughter Leni is also conquering the fashion world with international magazine covers and events attendances.

The idea behind the TV spot was to show them how they truly are. The audience gets the impression of a “behind the scenes” glimpses of both talents on a photoshooting set. Leni starts playing the Italian opera “Barbiere di Siviglia” as a link to the Italian heritage of the brand and also as a connection to “the Art of Italian lingerie”. They feel free, happy and confident, they interact in a playful and positive way. Like mother and daughter. Like two women having fun together wearing their favorite lingerie sets.

The ad closes with a Christmas-themed shot. Worn by both stars, the colour red prevails. Heidi flaunts lace lingerie embellished with small flower motifs and jewelled chains, for a sensual, feminine look. Her daughter Leni is wearing a silk and lace camisole and shorts, a refined and comfortable brand classic. The image conveys affection, confidence and friendship, framed in the cosy atmosphere of an Intimissimi Christmas, this year synonymous with love and peace more than ever before.

#intimissimicares project: traceability

“Improving is part of our culture. This is our idea of sustainability”

Since its foundation, Intimissimi has made a name for itself not only for the quality and beauty of its garments, but also for its extensive control over the production chain. 94% of the items sold in Intimissimi stores are actually produced by factories owned by the company in Italy and abroad. This decision allows production management to be coordinated with the other phases of the supply chain, ensuring total dedication to brand needs and the elimination of intermediaries. In this way, it is possible to maintain high quality at an affordable price. This business model involves significant investments and the opportunity to offer jobs to a large number of employees, for the benefit of the communities in the towns in which the companies are located. In this way, it is possible to guarantee an excellent working environment inside the factories and respect for the human rights of the people who work there.

This transparent approach is reflected to an even greater extent in the intimissimi.com online shop, thanks to the presence of a section titled “traceability” on the product sheet of each garment, featuring the details of the company sites at which it was manufactured. In this way, customers can obtain extensive information about the factory, the production phases, the commitment to issues regarding sustainability and the stories of the people who participated in the production of the items. The union between the brand’s sustainability journey and the supply chain control characteristics have made it possible to take a step forward when it comes to transparency towards customers relating to Intimissimi activities.

Specifically, nightwear items are produced in the Gordon (Serbia), Vavuniya (Sri Lanka) and Zalli (Bulgaria) factories. The garments then arrive at the logistics hub in Vallese (Italy) and go on to be shipped to stores all over the world.
